Whole Hawg Days!
|
Whole Hawg Days - For more than twenty years, the town of Eufaula has hosted the annual Whole Hawg Days, a full weekend of fun that's crowned by the exciting Poker Run event. Entrants in the Poker Run use boats and watercraft to pick up poker cards at marinas all around Lake Eufaula. Players strive to out-race each other in their quest for the cards -- and it's no wonder they do, because the winners take home cash prizes! Teams try to put together their very best hand of five-card stud poker, then the fates determine the winner. This fun family event also includes a carnival, a rodeo, a downtown walk, parade, car show, and hawg cooking. Whole Hawg Days take place in late July. |
